Then we set out bait stations on the inside and outside of the home. We’ll then return 10-14 days later to check the bait stations and rebate. We’ll collect our rodent bait stations at the 30 day mark unless you elect our general pest program.

What Do Mice Eat?

How Fast Do Mice Reprroduce?

In the wild they reproduce May through September. Generally with 4-9 litters with each litter having 2-11 pups. Mice can reproduce all year long if they are living somewhere warm like inside your house.

Are Mice Dangerous?

Unlike stinging insects, mice won’t sting you but they do carry diseases including hantavirus, leptospirosis, lymphocytic choriomeningitis (LCMV), tularemia and salmonella. Mice will also chew on almost anything to make nests, causing serious damage, especially to wiring.

What Do Rats Eat?

Both roof rats and Norway rats or omnivores. They will eat fruits, grains, produce, insects, and just about any food humans leave lying around including pet food. Norway rats have a wider diet and will consume fish, mice, birds among other small creatures.

How Fast Do Rats Reproduce?

Both roof rats and norway rats are polygamous and gather in colonies with many males and females. Roof rats can produce five litters a year with 5-8 baby rats per litter. Norway rats reproduce faster with up to 7 litters per year containing up to eight pups per litter. Both rats will produce all year round if their environment allows for it.

Rats are known to carry many different diseases making them a danger to public health. They can transmit them a number of ways including through bites, scratches, urine, feces ticks and fleas.
